Breathing is an automatic process that when efficient promotes health and well-being. Breathing at rest should use the nose, be quiet, slow, driven by the diaphragm and almost undetectable. If your breathing is not like this your body can be trained to breathe efficiently again which can lead to improvements in sleep, feeling calmer and reduced breathlessness with movement.
